This wax works really great for my candles but I'm not seeing the same for my wax melts. I've tried just about everything, but the wax melts keep breaking and I can't figure out why. Any pointers to preventing the wax melts from breaking? would you suggest adding a hardener to the wax? If so, what kind? Thanks

Hi Saavedra. You can try putting the melt in the refrigerator to harden it before taking it out of the mold!

What temperature do you recommend for pouring wax into the jar? I’ve been mixing around 180 and letting it cool to about 135 before pouring.

Hi Sasha, Usually anywhere between 160-180 is okay. Make sure you are being cautious of your fragrance oils flashpoint too :)

I love the deluxe satin soy wax but I’m curious how much fragrance percentage do most people use when making candles with this wax? I make a 10oz candle and my candles aren’t super strong. I think I’m using too much (12%) and the fragrance is burning off. Help!

Hi Alisa, Most makers use between 8-10%. If you feel like your fragrance is burning off, you might be exceeding the oils flashpoint.
