Melissa (fondly known as Mel around here) is a Makesy Maven with over 4 years of experience making messes, testing products, and helping people start small businesses.

She is a Makesy grown industry expert with real boots on the ground experience when it comes to bringing handmade products to life - and to market!

She has worn many hats here at Makesy - including scaling and leading our small (but mighty!) customer experience team through the pandemic, building our 100k+ online maker community, teaching virtual events and classes, and writing and producing our educational video content.

Mel is a lifelong learner who loves helping people succeed in their craft and empowering makers to pursue their passions and own their value.
