- I'm trying to make a solid lotion stick that produces a warming feeling (hoping to relieve pain). From what I've read, lotion bars are 1 part wax, 1 part oil and 1 part butter. (Plus additives like fragrance.) Would this product be considered an oil or butter? Or should it be used as an additive? I'm trying to figure out % of this needed. Thanks!

- Hello, I want to add this to an intimate/massage oil. I like the idea of both a heating and cooling effects on the skin. How would the vitaheat extract behave with menthol will they work in synergy? Or would the cooling effects of menthol cancel out the heating effects of vitaheat?
- Hi kekel, They will work in synergy, however, you will need to test different ratios to figure out how to balance them. Consider the carrier oils used in the massage oil too. Some carrier oils may enhance or diminish the effects of the active ingredients. For example, oils with a higher viscosity might slow down the absorption, prolonging the overall sensation.
- so the lube formulation adds vanilla flavor and the vita heat extract but on the safety msds sheet it says to make yourself vomit if the vita heat is ingested..
