The Ultimate Wood Wick has been third party tested as the most consistent performing wooden wick to ever hit the market. Start with an Ultimate Wood Wick Mini Kit to test for the correct wick. This exclusive patented technology checks every box:
If you previously used the Crackling Booster .03, the Ultimate Wick .03 will most likely work best for you. Be sure to conduct a burn test when altering any aspect of your candle to ensure optimal wick performance. Check our Wick Selection Guide to find the right wick for your candle-making project. Pair this with our Wick Centering Device to perfectly center your wicks and with our Universal Wood Wick Clip to ensure your wick does not fall over.
Important note: This is a custom, made-to-order wick that requires an additional 1-3 week lead time. This wick does not qualify for next-day processing.

"Love the new wick option. Burns well, nice crackling sound. My only complaint would be that they are definitely not all the same thickness. Sometimes I grab one, and it's super flexible, other times I can't flex it at all. (So quality control issues.)"
"Wicks are the best. The sound like as fireside"
"I ordered the ultimate wood wick .03x.625 thinking they would be the same high quality as the crackling booster wicks that I've grown to love. Unfortunately, I feel like the quality of these wicks is not the same. I’ve completed multiple burn tests and just have not had the usual consistant results with any other them. I am open to giving these another chance but for now i will be sticking with the crackling booster wicks."
