Q&A

Hi there, I tried adding these to my Coco Mango Butter M&P base and they turned green? Even the ones I sprinkled on top started to turn slightly green where they were stuck into the soap. Did I do something wrong? I followed the wildflower soap tutorial and didn't add anything extra...
Hi Adrianna, Some flowers have higher sensitivity to moisture, meaning they absorb moisture from their surrounding environment, this causes them to discolorate in soap. Some botanicals can also be sensitive to temperature and pH. Either of those things can cause them to change in color, this will not mean they are decomposing. It will only decompose if the soap is not properly stored.
