Ready to make a candle or soap?
grab & go candle.
Insert the wick into the metal clip. Adhere the wick sticker to the bottom of the clip and place it in the center of the vessel.
Open the top of the wax bag. Place the bag upright in the microwave and heat for 3–3.5 minutes. Remove the bag from the microwave and stir well. (Caution: Wax is hot! Hold the bag from the upper outside corners.)
While the wax is still hot, add the fragrance oil. Stir gently for 2–3 minutes.
Pour the wax mixture evenly into each vessel. Avoid pouring wax directly over the wick. Leave approximately 1/2 in. (12.7 mm) of space at the top of the vessel. Add a touch of glitter if you want some sparkle on top of your candle. Wipe the rim clean.
Allow the candle to cure for 24 hours.
Once fully set, apply the safety label. Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 in. (6.3 mm) above the wax line.
Warning: Burn within sight. Keep away from things that can catch fire. Keep away from children and pets. Remove all packaging and decorations before burning. Trim the wick to 1/8 in. (3.1 mm) prior to each lighting. Burn on a stable, non-flammable, heat-resistant surface. Allow the candle to cool before touching or handling. Burn in a well-ventilated room and avoid using in drafty areas. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Discontinue use when 1/2in. (12.7 mm) of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Light the wick all the way across to promote an even burn. Patents: www.lumetique.com/patents
grab & go soap.
Place your soap mold on a flat surface.
Have your fragrance, color, and mold ready before pouring.
Cut the soap base into 1in cubes and place in a microwave safe container.
Place your cubed soap in a microwave-safe container. Cover the top loosely with cling film to trap moisture. Heat in 20 to 30-second intervals, stirring gently between each burst until completely liquid and free of clumps.
Once the soap is completely melted, stir in your fragrance and mix well with your stir stick. Add a few drops of dye for color and glitter for a sparkle, if desired.
Once blended, add the mixture into each soap cavity mold. Your kit makes 4 beautiful bars.
Let them solidify before popping them out of the molds.
