More Details

Luxurious Goat Milk is extra creamy, moisturizing, and rich in essential fatty acids and triglycerides. These essential fatty acids have a unique pH like humans do, so there are less irritating factors, allowing its nourishing benefits to easily absorb into skin. Barley Starch Kaolin absorbs oil and cleanses hair while leaving it feeling super soft and natural. Snow Mushroom (Tremella Fuciformis Sporocarp Extract) hydrates and moisturizes the hair and scalp to help reduce frizziness and relieve the scalp from dryness.

All Ingredients:

Project Prep:

Clean your workspace with warm, soapy water or wipe it down with disinfecting alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
Make sure the room you’re working in is properly ventilated so open up windows if possible (with proper netting so insects don’t fly in). Do not work with a fan on as this can ruin your project formula, especially if you’re using powders.
Make sure all of your making supplies are completely clean before beginning your project. Disinfect your supplies by wiping them with disinfecting alcohol and let them dry. This includes any containers and spatulas or spoons you’re using to mix + blend your formula. It’s important to make sure your formula is made as germ-free as possible so you can reap all the delicious smelling, soothing benefits!
Organize your workspace by having all your supplies out and readily available. It can be helpful to place your unused supplies on one side of your workspace and then once used in the making process, place them on the other side.
If the project you’re working on requires extra layers of protection because of potential unwanted (hot) splashes, you may want to wear protective equipment like these ultra-chic Safety Glasses or Goggles and Maker Apron.

Steps:

Place your 1lb Shea & Goat Milk Soap Base and 1 oz of Stearic Acid in your large mixing vessel and begin heating in the microwave using 30 second intervals until it’s completely melted. Maker Tip: The outside of your container should never be too hot to hold by hand, this will ensure all botanicals retain their restorative properties.
Once melted, add both bags of Rose Clay to your soap base and mix until no clumps are visible. If your blend is hardening/cooling, reheat for 30 seconds in the microwave.
Add in both bottles of the Natural Creamy Vanilla & Coconut Sugar Fragrance Oil, the 10 ml bottle of Natural Snowmushroom Liquid Extract and all 2 oz of the Organic Propanediol (Glycol Alternative). Do not allow your blend to harden. If necessary, microwave your formula using 15 second intervals until it’s melted enough to stir without visible clumps
Add in 1 oz of Emulsitec Plant Based Preservative to your mixture and stir until it is evenly distributed.
Add all bags of CocoLather Natural Surfactant-Solid and stir until it’s evenly distributed. Note: These will not dissolve until introduced to water. Make sure they are evenly distributed to your visual preference.
Once ready, use a scoop to fill your molds. Press them on top with a piece of wax paper until they’re compact. Use a knife or frosting spatula to level the top of your molds.
Allow your formula to cool for 24 hours at room temperature or place the molds in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, then transfer them to the freezer for an additional 30 minutes. Once they’ve hardened, your bars should easily pop out of their molds.
Heat any remaining Shampoo formula in the microwave for 15 seconds intervals until it’s moldable. Repeat steps 5-6 until all is used.
Allow your formula to cool for 24 hours at room temperature or place the molds in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, then transfer them to the freezer for an additional 30 minutes. Once they’ve hardened, your bars should easily pop out of their molds.
To use, simply hold the bar in your hands under running water to create a creamy lather, gently massage it into your scalp and all over your hair in circular motions, then rinse! Suggested use is day or night, two to three times per week.
