Baobab Oil is carefully cold-pressed in Kenya and packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and omega fatty acids. It is a rich, luxurious, plant-based specialty oil used for anti-aging, wound healing, and skin cell rejuvenation. It is Leaping Bunny Certified, gluten-free, paraben-free, and non-GMO. Natural Glycerin Sweetener is an all-natural ingredient used to sweeten handcrafted, custom lip balm formulas and lipsticks. It can be used on its own or combined with a scented flavor oil. Beeswax Coco Creme is an ethically sourced, renewable, skin-safe wax that helps emulsify lotions and lip care products. Toasted Sugar Flavor Oil is a sweet toasted sugar flavor oil for handcrafted lip balms with top notes of sugar crystals and vanilla, middle notes of toasted marshmallow, and bottom notes of tonka bean. Instructions

This easy-to-make, super sweet lip balm contains Baobab Oil, which is a smooth, cold-pressed, lightweight ingredient and rich in nutrients with many benefits for the skin.

Project Prep:

Clean your workspace with warm, soapy water or wipe it down with disinfecting alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
Make sure the room you’re working in is properly ventilated so open up windows if possible (with proper netting so insects don’t fly in). Do not work with a fan on as this can ruin your project formula, especially if you’re using powders.
Make sure all of your making supplies are completely clean before beginning your project. Disinfect your supplies by dipping them in a 5% bleach water solution and let them dry. This includes any containers and spatulas or spoons you’re using to mix + blend your formula. It’s important to make sure your formula is made as germ-free as possible so you can reap all the delicious smelling, soothing benefits!
Organize your workspace by having all your supplies out and readily available. It can be helpful to place your unused supplies on one side of your workspace and then once used in the making process, place them on the other side.
If the project you’re working on requires extra layers of protection because of potential unwanted (hot) splashes, you may want to wear protective equipment like these ultra-chic Safety Glasses or Goggles and Maker Apron.

Steps:

Add 1.4 oz of Cold-Pressed Baobab Oil and 0.5 oz of Beeswax Coco Creme to your Pouring Pitcher and heat in the microwave to fully melt your formula. Try 30-60 seconds at a time to achieve a full melt then carefully remove your pitcher from the microwave. Careful not to overheat your formula.
Add 0.01 oz of Toasted Sugar Flavor Oil and 0.01 oz of Natural Glycerin Sweetener to your formula and blend to fully combine.
It’s ready to package! Carefully pour your mixture into the Frosted Glass Jars and let them fully cool and harden without lids for 24 hours before enjoying your lip balm sweetness.
