How To Choose The Right Size X Wood Wick

Sizing the right x wick for your candle is a breeze! Charlotte will explain how sizing your x wicks works and how it's actually very similar to sizing your other wooden wicks.

Just like our regular wooden wicks, there are different thicknesses for the X wicks. There is 0.01, 0.02, and 0.03. They come in both original and crackling variety (red, warm colored wood) and whisper variety (blonde wood). 

Depending on your wax type, you are going to need different thicknesses from your X-wicks. 

If you are using a paraffin wax, use the 0.01 size. 

If you are using a natural blend (para-soy or soy coconut blend), use the 0.02 size. 

If you are using, a 100% soy blend, 0.03 thickness will be the best choice for you. 

In order to find out what size works the best for you and your candle, you need to consider the diameter of the container you are using as well. If it is very small, use the thinnest wick, and if it is wide, it will need a wider wick. We have so many different kinds of x wicks on our site and they go up by 0.125 inch at a time.
