How To Trim A Wooden Wick

Wick trimming is kind of a big deal. In this video learn the best way to trim your wooden wicks and how to properly care for your wooden wick candle. 

Not trimming your candle correctly causes them to not function properly. Trimming a wick is super easy to do! You are going to need a pair of wick trimmers, a ruler, and your wooden wick candle. 

Make sure your candle has set for 24 hours after the candle has cooled. Measure about 0.2 inches of wick from the surface of the candle with your ruler. Finally, gently use your wick trimmer to trim the wick. 

Continue to trim wick in between burns and remove the burnt bits of wood that collect on the surface of the candle.
