How To Set Up A Wooden Wick

by | published

Ready to get started making wooden wick candles? This blog will walk you through how to set up your wooden wicks so you can jump right into candle making.

If you have used cotton wicks, then you know the drill. You will be pleased with the quick and easy setup of wooden wicks!

how to set up your wooden wicks

  • Push your wick into the wick clip
  • Place a wick sticker or glue dot onto the bottom of the wick clip
  • Secure the wick clip to the bottom center of your vessel
  • Ta-dah! Done!

That’s all there is to it. You are now ready to pour your candle. That’s right! No securing to a wick bar, wooden dowel, pencil, clothespin, or re-straightening the wick as the candle is cooling.

If you prefer a video tutorial, watch how to use a wick clip and how to set up wooden wicksIf you're trying to find the best wick for your candles, we recommend starting with our all inclusive wick sample kit.
