ShroomCool Skin Defense Extract (Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, Albatrellus Confluens (Mushroom) Extract,Tremella Fuciformis Sporocarp Extract) is a unique blend of two different mushrooms well known for their healing properties: Albatrellus confluens contains potent antioxidant activity which supports the skin’s own defense and detoxification mechanisms, and was clinically shown to reduce skin temperature by 3°C when exposed to heat. Project Prep:

	Clean your workspace with warm, soapy water or wipe it down with disinfecting alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
	Make sure the room you’re working in is properly ventilated so open up windows if possible (with proper netting so insects don’t fly in). Do not work with a fan on as this can ruin your project formula, especially if you’re using powders.
	Make sure all of your making supplies are completely clean before beginning your project. Disinfect your supplies by wiping them with disinfecting alcohol and let them dry. This includes any containers and spatulas or spoons you’re using to mix + blend your formula. It’s important to make sure your formula is made as germ-free as possible so you can reap all the delicious smelling, soothing benefits!
	Organize your workspace by having all your supplies out and readily available. It can be helpful to place your unused supplies on one side of your workspace and then once used in the making process, place them on the other side.
	If the project you’re working on requires extra layers of protection because of potential unwanted (hot) splashes, you may want to wear protective equipment like these ultra-chic Safety Glasses or Goggles and Maker Apron.

Steps:

	In your Glass Pitcher, add 8.66 oz of Filtered or Distilled water (if it’s cold, microwave it for 1 minute to achieve room temperature water).
	Add 0.48 oz of the Easy Dissolve Caffeine Complex to your main Pyrex Dish and mix it with your White Stick Blender for 1 minute intervals. After each minute, let the contents settle and mix until no powder settles to the bottom. This may take up to 5 minutes.
	Once the Caffeine is fully mixed, add 0.02 oz of Natural Sodium Phytate. Mix it with your Silicone Spatula. Once mixed, dry your Spatula.
	Add 0.24 oz of the EasyBlend Xanthan-Clay Thickener and 0.24 oz of Arrowroot Powder. Mix them using your White Stick Blender until a clump-free gel is formed.
	Add 0.09 oz of Citric Acid and mix it in completely. Place your Glass Pitcher aside.
	Take your 2 oz Glass Dish or Shot Glass and add 0.96 oz of the Light Body & Face Oil, 0.60 oz of the Cold-Process Natural Emulsifier (O/W), and 0.24 oz of the Emulsitec Plant-Derived Preservative. Mix until all items are completely dissolved. Note: If necessary, you can put your glass dish in the microwave with all of step 6’s ingredients for 30 seconds to completely dissolve the emulsifier, then allow it to cool to room temperature before moving to the next step.
	Pour the mixture from your Glass Dish or Shot Glass into your Glass Pitcher while mixing it in with your White Stick Blender. Blend until a smooth, uniform consistency is achieved.
	Once your cream base is ready, add all of your 10 ml bottle of ShroomCool Skin Defense Extract and 0.12 oz of the Natural Snow Mushroom Liquid Extract. Mix these in with your Spatula until completely incorporated.
	It’s ready! Now you can pour your cream into Frosted Glass Bottles and seal.
	Scrape the remaining product into your 266 ml jar, seal it tightly, and store in a cool, dark place so you have refills ready when you need ‘em. Keep in mind the bottles and droppers are reusable!
	To use, simply apply your cream to clean skin in the morning, or whenever your skin needs a boost.
