Gettin’ crafty is a great way to not only save a bucket load of cash, but an über fun way to personalize the details and truly make it yours. Go at it solo or bribe your bride tribe, this is somethin’ the whole dang I Do Crew can do!

get creative with candles

Candles are a gorgeous option to dress up a venue and can be used in soooo many different ways. The best part? Just like love, candles come in all shapes and sizes, so they can be used throughout ceremony and reception spaces to keep the love burnin’ all. night. long.

Make a batch or two with the lovely couple’s fave scent to make the mood special!

adorning the altar

On the ground around the altar floor and on different risers for height, candles are a great way to dress up the ceremony space. Depending on the size of the ceremony venue, you may not need to make all that many - phew!

Opt for various heights, sizes & finishes to really give the altar that special glow! If using makesy aura vessels, you may even consider covering a couple with lavish & oh-so lovely translucent naked cloche for some added elegance & sophistication.

multiple matte white tealights

tealights on tables

Positioned perfectly between flowers & table numbers, tealights are a lovely lil touch to add some twinkle to tables.

And did we mention they don’t take too long to make?

Go for matte white tealights to keep it clean & classic or glitz it up with some lustrous gold tealights!

You really can’t go wrong. Add in a sultry fragrance to help *scent* the mood and provide a rich, romantic feel.

fall in love with florals

We all love a fancy wedding floral, but callin’ on a florist to dazzle up the day can be spendddyyy! If you’re a candle-maker, chances are you might already have some extra vessels layin’ around somewhere - now’s your chance to use ‘em!

Candle vessels make simple, beautiful basins for DIY floral arrangements. We love going for a candle vessel over a tall vase, because it allows for shorter, fuller arrangements!

Say yes to guests being able to see each other across the table! ;) You may already have some faves in mind, and that is a-okay, but If you wanna try new vessels, our crystal clear posh and translucent rosè posh are some incredible options for bringin’ the special day sparkle!

Head to your local farmer’s market or take some flowers from your very own garden (if you have one), and hold a floral arranging' fiesta!

  • Cute little candles made with the couple’s signature scent
  • Sudsy soaps adorned with botanicals reminiscent of the florals around the venue
  • Bath salts or bombs for soothin’ guests’ bodies after an evening full of dancing
  • Handmade lip balms to give them a goodbye kiss ;)
