Too thin for retail hand soap

"As you'd expect from Makesy, the ingredients are super high quality. It's challenging to use as a hand soap due to its extremely low viscosity—close to water. I think it would be a hard sell. As others have stated, it also has a strong oil smell which cannot be easily masked with fragrance or essential oils. Though I have not tried it, Makesy's shower gel might be a better choice for hand soap since it contains thickeners."

how much fragrance oil per pound of Castile soap do you use?: Hi marcelina, We don't recommend altering more than 10% of the soap base. However, you do need to refer to the IFRA sheet on the fragrance product page for the safest % to use in a soap product.

When making hand soap, would I need to add anything to this other than fragrance oil?: Hi Destiny, Hand soap is super easy! You only need a base and fragrance, any other additives are optional!
Hey can water be added to this product? Without preservatives. Or is a preservative needed if water is added, as I do not see a preservative listed in the Ingredients?: Hi Marie, We have not done too much experimenting on this but we're thinking a preservative would be best if adding water.
